Java

Java is a programming lanuage used in creating very small and efficient programs or applets. Because of this advantage, it has become one of the primary lanuages for programming Internet centric applications. Another features is it's ability to run on most operating systems (Unix, PC, and even Mac).

JPEG

A popular graphics file format for picture/photographs. This uses a lossy compression format to achieve great reduction in file size. This is the standard file format for images requiring more than 256 colors. This type of file usually has the extension .jpg or .jpeg.
