A network connection that is able to send 1.5 million bits per second. Used by companies with high network bandwidth requirements, especially for connecting to the Internet.

TCP/IP

Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol. This is the fundamental protocol of all Internet communications. TCP/IP is actually two protocols that work together to ensure data is sent to the right place and to resend if any errors occur.
