Microsoft Internet Connection Wizard

Step 5

If you do not have a modem currently installed, then Windows 95 will try to find it and install it for you. If these screens do not appear, just continue to the next step. These screens will only appear if you don't have a modem installed and setup for Windows 95.

Not all modems are created equally. Most recent modems should have plug-and-play support for Windows 95 or a set of Windows 95 installation diskettes. Installation of modems is an advanced topic that is not covered in this tutorial.

You should allow Windows 95 to autodetect your modem.

After it detects your modem, it will ask you for some basic information.

Click the Finish button to install the modem.
