Microsoft Internet Connection Wizard

Step 6

If you have a modem registered with Windows 95 or it detects and installs the modem, the next screen will ask you for number you wish to dial to connect to your Internet Service Provider (this would be AlaNet).

Use the table below to determine which number you need to use:

Modem Lines
City Modem Type Phone Number
Dothan V.90 779-3700
Daleville V.90 598-6979
Actual connect speeds depend on phone line quality. Due to FCC regulations, currently no modem can reach true 56k transmission speeds.

Choose the number that is a local call to you. Make sure you can call either Dothan or Daleville as a local/unlimited number. Specify the area code and country name.

After typing the correct number to dial, area code, and country name, click the Next button.
