Introduction
This page will walk you through the steps required to setup Netscape Communicator 4.0 e-mail software to work with AlaNet's dial-up accounts. This set of instructions assumes you are using Windows 95, although the concepts and windows should be the same on other operating system versions (i.e. Netscape 4 for Windows 3.1, Windows NT, MacOS, and Unix).

1. Start Netscape Communicator
2. Open Preferences dialog box
3. View of Preferences dialog box
4. Click on Mail & Groups item
5. Click on Identity item
6. Fill out Mail Identity page
7. Click on Mail Server
8. Fill out Mail Server page
9. Click the OK button and restart Netscape
