Netscape 4 E-mail Setup
Step
6
After
clicking on the Identity item, the Preferences dialog box should
look something like this.
In some cases, you may already
have some information filled-out.
How to fill out this page:

Type your name in the Your name field.
Type it as you would want others to see your
name. For this example, we are going to use the name "John
Doe."

Type your e-mail
address in the Email
address field.
Your e-mail
address is simply username@ala.net --
where username is the user name that you
log on to AlaNet with. For our example, John Doe's AlaNet username
is doej, so that makes his e-mail
address doej@ala.net

Type your e-mail
address in the Reply-to
address field.
This is
optional. This field can specify an address other than the one you
normally send from for people to send replies.

Type your business
name or family name in the Organization field.
If
you are using this account mainly from the office for work relating
purposes, you need to specify your business's name -- like "Doe
Moving Company" for example. If you are using this account
mainly from home or for personal use, then just type in your family
name or leave it blank. For this example, John Doe decides to use
his family's name in this field.

Other
options
The above options are advanced
topics and not covered in this tutorial. Please see the Netscape
Communicator main page for tutorials on advanced features.
