Posting Personal Web Pages on AlaNet

Step 6

After you have either found the public_html directory or created it, you will need to make the current directory.


Make the public_html directory default by typing cd public_html.


Find out the current local directory (the default directory on your computer) by typing lcd.

Change the local default directory to the directory you are storing your web pages and graphics by using the lcd local_path command.


For example, we have a web site files stored in the c:\mywebsite directory on our computer, so we typed: lcd c:\mywebsite
