Posting Personal Web Pages on AlaNet

Step 8

After uploading all the files related to your web site to your public_html directory, you are ready to look at your web site live on the Internet.

Your Internet address will usually be:
http://downtown.ala.net/~username

Where username is your AlaNet user name. For example, the user johndoe homepage would be http://downtown.ala.net/~johndoe

To test out your page, simply open your favorite web browser and type your Internet address in the Address field and press the enter key.
