How to Setup the Default Page on Internet Explorer 3


TechTip: You can print this page out by clickiing on the Print button or by clicking on the Print item on the File menu.

  1. Start Internet Explorer 3 (Usually the Globe icon with "The Internet" text on your Desktop).
  2. Click on the Options item on the View menu.
  3. When the Options dialog appears, click on the Navigation tab (located at the top of the dialog box).
  4. With the Page field, use the drop-down box to select the "Start Page" value (this value *should* be default).
  5. Change the Address field's text to your homepage's address. If you don't know what your homepage address is or how to type it, see question 1 (Q #1).
  6. Click the "OK" button located at the bottom of the dialog box.
